BIGBANG Concert BIG SHOW in 30 January 2009

It has been announced that popular group Big Bang will be holding yet another large-scale concert next year.

They will be holding their next solo concert ‘Big Show’ next year for 2 days from 31st January to 1st February at the gymnastic stadium in Seoul Olympic Park.

YG Entertainment also revealed that in the 2-days period, there will be a total of 3 concert performances, and in a scale of 40,000 fans attending. This is similar to that of Jo Young Pil’s debut 40th anniversary concert in Seoul JamSil stadium which saw a total of 42,000 fans attending the concert. And Jo Young Pil is the only singer who managed to mobilize more than 40,000 fans for his concert this year.

Since their debut in 2006, Big Bang has held more than 20 concert performances and they are the idol group who made headlines with concert tickets sold-out in just a few instances after the release of ticket sales.

A YG representative said, “In order to allow for more to enjoy the concert we have decided to hold the large-scale concert performance in the Korea’s largest gymnastic stadium. “

Big Bang concert tickets will go on for reservation sales on GMarket (www.gmarket.co.kr) from 5th December onwards.
